Summary:

We are looking for a responsible Detail Inspector to support the PTS team, a StandardAero company to check the quality of all incoming and outgoing material. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. In depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards is essential. Our primary focus is to provide airlines and MRO service providers with a wide variety of options for sourcing high quality aircraft material. With our excellent customer service, experience and exceptional quality control, we can provide cost effective solutions for our customers' operational and financial goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming and outgoing parts to ensure they are up to quality standards and FAA regulations.
  • Perform general warehouse duties.
  • Perform self-audits on procedures to ensure conformity to the quality management system; ISO 9001:2015.
  • Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager.
  • Receiving and inspecting engine teardowns.
  • Shipping parts to customers and vendors.


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of aviation quality assurance experience.
  • Proven experience in quality inspection.
  • Familiarity with quality systems.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


Preferred:

  • 2-3 years of shipping/receiving in aviation.
  • A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
  • Responsible and trustworthy.
  • Certification of quality control (e.g., ISO 9000).
  • Prior experience with Quantum Control (preferred).
