We're looking for a Resource Deployment Coordinator to support our Project Management & Quality Assurance team.

Position Summary

As a Resource Deployment Coordinator (RDC), you will play a crucial role in the Resource Management Office (RMO), supporting Resource Deployment Managers (RDMs) in fulfilling daily resource requests across multiple practices. This individual will be responsible for confirming requirements, identifying suitable resources, assigning them to projects, presenting resources for consideration, and ensuring all stakeholders are appropriately notified of assignments.
What You'll Do
  • Strategically collaborate with Resource Deployment Managers to understand project requirements and resource availability.
  • Review and analyze daily resource requests from stakeholders across various practices, ensuring alignment with project scopes and timeline.
  • Confirm project requirements with relevant stakeholders and identify suitable resources based on skills, availability, and project needs.
  • Assign resources to project requirements, identifying and deploying suitable resources based on skills, availability, and project deliverables.
  • Present proposed resource assignments to Resource Deployment Managers for consideration and approval when uncertain or requiring clarification.
  • Ensure clear communication and transparency by promptly notifying assigned resources, Delivery Directors (DDs), Project Managers (PMs), and relevant stakeholders of project assignments.
  • Maintain accurate records of resource allocations, project assignments, and resource availability to facilitate efficient decision-making and resource optimization.
  • Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts and resource constraints by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide timely updates to Resource Deployment Managers on resource allocation status, flagging any emerging issues or opportunities for enhancement.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within the Resource Management Office by identifying areas for enhancement and proposing solutions.
What You'll Bring
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in resource management, project management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using resource management tools and software, including NetSuite OpenAir, MS Office Suite, and Smartsheet.
  • Familiarity with forecasting utilization, capacity, and revenue to enhance strategic resource planning abilities.
  • Proven experience in resource management, project coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrate results by partnering with others to get things done quickly and efficiently. Follows through on commitments and takes responsibility for decisions and actions.
  • Bachelor's degree (four-year college or university) or equivalent combination of education and work experience. High school diploma or GED, at minimum.

  • Consulting experience is highly valued, showcasing an understanding of client-focused resource allocation.
  • Certifications such as Resource Management Certified Professional (RMCP).
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in resource management, project management, and project delivery.

At Coalfire, equal opportunity and pay equity is integral to the way we do business. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role is $40,000 to $69,000 based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.
