Overview

CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring immediately for a full-time Regional Inventory Control Coordinator in Las Vegas, NV!

CORT Events provides furniture rental solutions to trade shows and events including festivals, weddings, corporate events, or even the Superbowl! You will be responsible for supporting both Operations and Sales in our efforts to provide the best customer experience possible. That means knowing where our inventory is, where it's needed, how long it will take to get there, and making sure it moves in time to be delivered to the event.

Responsibilities

  • Review Inventory Dashboard to check for inventory needs for multiple districts on a daily basis
  • Use V2 & BI Tools to assist in checking for company-wide and district shortages.
  • Answer all assigned District stock checks within an hour and suggest substitutions as needed.
  • Schedule transfers with the districts based on needs to ensure product arrives 48 hours prior to required delivery date.
  • Leads communications within each district's shipping and receiving area to schedule the arrival of carriers for loading/unloading.
  • Prepares documentation to coordinate logistics for the movement of product by use of CORT policy.
  • Utilize transfers to reduce inter-district freight costs at a corporate level.
  • Assist districts in determining product shortage and determining the best course of action to move said product within the company and budget constraints.
  • Pull from area first utilizing Regional Warehousing concept.
  • Balance inventory between Districts to utilize "free" space on scheduled transfers using inventory-forecasting tool for upcoming shows and events.
  • Balance inventory based on the Inventory Utilization Report (IUR).
  • Work on moving unusually high quantity items out of districts that had a large one-off use.
  • Utilize uniform transfer requests and the TMS (Transportation Management System) to enter shipments for the booking of loads and tracking purposes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience with tracking inventory in multiple warehouses
  • Clear understanding of inventory best practices
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook programs
  • Must pass background checks and drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E-Verify program.
