Responsibilities
  • Perform optics assembly or mechanical inspections, depending on the candidate's past work experience.
  • Responsible for operating, cleaning, and maintaining the Residual Gas Analyzer (RGA), vacuum ovens and related tools & fixtures.
  • Responsible for clean unpackaging and handling of production units and loading them safely into the ovens and RGAs.
  • Perform particle inspections and packaging of production units to be shipped to the customer.
  • Perform end-of-line fiber or optics inspections to support shipments.

Qualifications

1. 2 years' experience as a

-Production Operator, Assembler or Technician working on assembly or inspections at a fiber and optics manufacturer are preferred but rare

-Production Operator, Assembler or Technician with electronics with sensitive / delicate devices that require careful handling. -role where product inspection, cleanliness and temperature sensitivity is an important factor. 2. Able to follow cleaning and operating instructions meticulously.3. Assembly experience at a fiber/optics manufacturing line will be an added advantage.4. Availability to work during Swing shift is preferred but not a must.
5. Can read and follow written and verbal work instructions and communicate effectively in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

California pay range (Career Level): MIN $57,000 - MAX$95,000

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
