Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Retail Capital Management, the successful candidate is responsible for consolidated Nutrien Retail's global capital reports. They will be required to collaborate with teams from different levels and parts of Nutrien to ensure quality and accurate capital information. Their analysis and reports will be used to gain insights for making decisions to meet strategic KPI metrics.

What you will do:

* Responsible for compiling and reporting on Retail's global monthly capital portfolio information, as well as collaborating with our business and corporate partners to understand business drivers affecting capital portfolio financial performance.

* Take a primary role in creating, tailoring, and distributing capital management reports that suit the specific needs of each of our business partners and that will help support a clear and accountable capital stewardship process.

* Manage the distribution of approved planned funds from the Retail global portfolio down to the geographical portfolios and track any approved internal allocation transfers throughout the year.

* Monitor usage and educate our various business partners on capital governance to ensure compliance while ensuring the sustainable, efficient execution of the current and future Retail capital portfolio.

* Become an expert on Retail's economic and financial modelling tools, with a commitment to continuously challenge and implement enhancements in the modelling tools to better support financial lookbacks and financial modelling accuracy throughout Retail.

* Assist the development, aggregation, and analysis of several capital planning processes, including: annual capital budgeting; 5-year capital strategic plan; quarterly capital forecast and monthly capital financial reviews

* Perform other duties and projects as necessary including ad-hoc aggregation and analysis of data on changing focal areas

* Foster engagement through clarity, competence, influence, & recognition

* Provide support and feedback to team members

* Work collaboratively with co-workers in multiple countries, across various teams, and throughout all levels of the organization

What you will bring:

* A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from a recognized institution or equivalent experience

* At least 4 years of progressive experience in Financial Analysis

* Strong financial background; exceptional analytical and modeling skills

* Excellent data management and quantitative analysis skills

* Familiarity with accounting processes, practices, and regulations

* Self- Motivated with excellent integrity and business ethics

* Experience with building and analyzing financial models

* Thorough financial acumen and experience measuring performance metrics

* Willing to travel on occasion

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $79,600 - $109,450 USD. This range is estimated for this position in Loveland, CO. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our plan(s), which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
