Our Corporate office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is looking for an accounting intern to begin over the summer and carry into the Fall and Spring semesters. Intern has the ability to work full-time during summer and semester breaks if desired. Ideally, the intern would work 20 hours per week during school semesters.
Lamar's Accounting Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience and learn about the various aspects of the accounting function at a publicly traded company. The Accounting Intern will work directly under the supervision of the Accounting Manager but will assist other members of the Accounting, Finance, and Tax teams as needed.
This is a part-time, paid internship at $15 - $16 / hour with a Monday - Friday work schedule. Interns have the ability to set their own schedule around their college courses and other commitments.
