Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour (Experience-dependent)


Schedule: Monday to Friday


Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual machine tools such as vertical and horizontal lathes, milling machines, and grinders to craft metal parts.
  • Interpret electronic or written blueprints and specifications.
  • Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials for machining tasks.
  • Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Monitor cutting speed to mitigate vibrations.
  • Ensure precision and accuracy in finished parts using micrometers and other precision instruments.
  • Verify finished parts against drawings for accuracy.


Qualifications: 1-3 years of machinist experience.
