Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour (Experience-dependent)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Operate manual machine tools such as vertical and horizontal lathes, milling machines, and grinders to craft metal parts.
- Interpret electronic or written blueprints and specifications.
- Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials for machining tasks.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
- Monitor cutting speed to mitigate vibrations.
- Ensure precision and accuracy in finished parts using micrometers and other precision instruments.
- Verify finished parts against drawings for accuracy.
Qualifications: 1-3 years of machinist experience.
