Ultra is seeking a Senior System Administrator / Enterprise Exchange Administrator to support and maintain the Microsoft 365 (M365) platform across our organization. In this critical position, the role-holder will help to ensure that our employees in the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia have a fantastic user experience.

Ideal candidate will have a strong background in a variety of environments (on-premises, hybrid, and cloud) and strong experience supporting and implementing M365 at both GCC and commercial enterprise level.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a new and quickly growing Global IT team at Ultra Maritime.

Please note, this role is a remote based role with preference in the Northeast/East Coast.

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Job Description

Provide support and management of M365 GCC in the US and Commercial (UK) for the global customer base and Microsoft Azure platform to Ultra Maritime. As well as a BAU purpose this role will also have a project collaboration and integration responsibility.

  • Support global M365 tenant(s), synchronization, and identity management.

  • Support and provide management of Microsoft Azure environment.

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Exchange 2010 - Exchange Online Administration.

  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions to end user requests or problems submitted through the global service desk.

  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions to software and hardware faults.

  • Triage and assign advanced problems to the support partner through the proper channels.

  • Perform post solution follow up to ensure end user satisfaction.

  • Assist the wider technologist team in the monitoring and management of server systems.

  • Assist with VPN Management.

  • Monitor Azure Resources and Log Analytics.

  • Endpoint/Intune Management.

  • Maintain inventory and deployment of licenses.

  • Write knowledgebase articles to document new solutions.

  • Supporting the UM IT team on other projects as needed.

  • Support the Global Administration team with complex requests

Required Skills:

  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance. Clearances are granted to US Citizens.

  • 3+ years' experience supporting the Microsoft 365 GCC and Commercial Platform at an Enterprise Level

  • Intermediate PowerShell skills

  • Experience with data migrations Office 365, for collaborative data and email.

  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.

  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills

  • 2+ years of experience with following:

  • Microsoft Exchange 2010 to Exchange Online management and configuration

  • Windows 10/ deployment / Windows Autopilot

  • Azure Active Directory Connect Management and Multi-Factor Authentication

  • SAML configuration for third-party applications

  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune or SCCM

Desired Skills:

  • Microsoft 365 Certification (i.e. 'Enterprise Administrator Expert' or 'MD-100/MD-101')

  • 2+ years of experience in SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online management and configuration

  • Experience working with end users domestically and internationally

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology preferred

  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

  • Experience in building excellent client relationship

  • Experience performing technical support for user-facing or End User Computing services.

  • Ability to use open-ended questions and active listening to gather information on a problem

  • Possess and maintain a positive attitude in various situations.
