Join a team of dynamic and detail-oriented engineers to develop capabilities that support our mission of helping our users work smarter, not harder. You'll work with top consultants and developers in our Professional Services Division as well as users to design, architect, and validate software that is scalable, reliable, and meets users' needs, as we build the next generation ArcGIS Monitor product.

ArcGIS Monitor is a product uniquely tailored to monitor the system health, performance, and usage of ArcGIS implementations throughout the lifecycle. By observing and analyzing both traditional and cloud infrastructure, software, and supporting system metrics; we empower organizations to optimize their ArcGIS systems by detecting anomalies, reduce costs for more effective operations, and understand overall system performance and capacity.

The Professional Services division is the consulting and implementation arm of Esri. We break ground in new markets, push the technology envelope and ultimately deliver transformational solutions to high profile clients worldwide. The Professional Services organization is comprised of nearly 1,000 talented business and technical professionals who strive every day to help our users be successful.

Responsibilities
    Work with software developers to design, build, test, and release high quality software
  • Communicate with product users to identify product requirements and advocate for their needs throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Research throughout industry standards and specifications to translate requirements to software design
  • Develop support systems to ensure quality software through robust automated functional and performance testing
  • Provide best practices, user documentation, demonstrations, and technical assistance for the product
  • Collaborate in focused team efforts the design lifecycle
  • Leverage the knowledge of the target audience to better understand business trends, customer communities, and go-to-market strategies
Requirements
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a similar position supporting similar responsibilities
  • Demostrated professional experience developing, executing, and interpreting automated, functional, regression, and performance tests
  • Enthusiasm for improving software capabilities for end users in real-world applications
  • Broad experience across the ArcGIS platform and general use cases
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to learn - you must thrive in a dynamic cross-functional team environment
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Bachelor`s Degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Computer Science, or STEM related field
Recommended Qualifications
  • Experience using monitoring tools in real-world scenarios
  • Experience with complex enterprise systems
  • Understanding and experience with software development methodologies (SCRUM) and support tooling (GIT)
  • Master`s Degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Computer Science, or STEM related field

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $72,800.00 - $124,800.00.
