Sellers & Associates, LLC has an opening for a Journeyman Cost Estimator in Washington DC.

Job Summary:

• Develop detailed cost estimates for new construction and shipbuilding projects.
• Review and verify acquisition and construction cost estimates for major shipbuilding projects.
• Provide consultation and review services for costs and technical review to design teams.
• Develop, prepare, and analyze detailed construction schedules, including multiyear projects.
• Conduct market research, perform cost accounting and labor estimates.

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs all functions independently, Lead and train junior engineers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Develop, prepare and analyze detailed construction schedules for new, repair, and alternations-level designs.
• Prepare estimates for new federal shipbuilding construction.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience of cost estimating of marine design and construction.
• Documented experience of increasing responsibility.
