Top Tips for Pumping Up Your Job Search Results
Share
1. Network, Network, Network!!! Up to 80% of jobs are found through networking. In addition to face-to-face networking (the most powerful) be sure to add social media networking to your list.

2. Treat your job search like a job. Be willing to spend 35 hours a week in your search if you're unemployed and up to 15 if you're employed. Any less than that will most likely lengthen the amount of time you spend looking for your next job and cost you money!

3. Diversify. Step out of your comfort zone. Be willing to diversify and try new strategies. If you're used to simply surfing the Internet for a job, try something new.

4. Have fun. You know the saying, "All work and no play......" Schedule three hours of fun per week. You decide what FUN activities you want to do.

Try these strategies and see if you get some momentum going in your search! If you're not in a search, keep these tips in mind for when you are looking for a job.
